 Design
Motorola MotoYuva W396 is an entry-level clamshell, featuring a large 1.8-inch, 128 x 160 pixels color CSTN TFT display. It weighs 94g and is 95 mm long, 46 mm wide and 17 mm thick. Although the handset doesn’t have external display, the three bright LED-lit icons on the external casing let you know of missed calls, incoming messages and battery status. The keys located on the top of are especially dedicated for operating the inbuilt-MP3 player. These keys not only help you to adjust the volume for music, but also allow you to browse through the FM channels and MP3 music tracks, when the flap remains closed.

Features
The 1-MB internal memory of Motorola MotoYuva W396 allows to store as many as 750 sms messages and 1000 phone numbers. It also features a microSD memory card, with an expandable memory of up to 2 GB. The VGA resolution digital camera integrated within the mobile phone offers you a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It comes with an auto-save and auto-timer picture capture facility and offers 4x Digital Zoom for images. JPEG format is used to capture and store the pictures in the W396.



The Crystal Talk technology of Motorola MotoYuva W396 reduces ambient noise, making your conversations loud and clear. The W396 mobile phone comes with GPRS Class 10 connection, which allows to access the Internet with a speed of 48-kbps. Apart from this, the cell phone features a WAP 2.0 browser with xHTML support. The USB v1.1 port connection allows wired connectivity to PC for transferring data. The standard Li-Ion 940 mAh (BQ50) battery of Motorola MOTOYUVA W396 can provide up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 400 hrs of stand-by time, when the battery is fully charged.
